REGISTRATION DETAILS
Deadline for Registration: Feb 14th, 2023 for a guaranteed jersey. Registration closes March 3rd, 2023.
Registration Fee: $175
Payment includes: entry fee, cycling jersey (or T-shirt if after Feb 10), custom camelbak bottle, primitive camping facilities (bring your own gear), dinner Saturday night, opportunity for sick bragging rights.. (optional hat is $25 and t-shirt $25). All proceeds go to WISE. No Refunds.
THE CAUSE
100% of the proceeds from Slow Ride go directly to the Woolley Institute for Spoken Language Education (WISE). One of the co-founders of the ride has a daughter who was born deaf. After she received cochlear implants and the miracle of hearing, WISE played a pivotal role in teaching her to integrate into a hearing world.
The Woolley Institute for Spoken-Language Education (WISE) is dedicated to educating, supporting and empowering parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Their comprehensive therapy and educational programs are designed to provide opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing children to learn to listen, speak, read, and integrate fully into the hearing society.
